Q: Help - I have no co-ordination!
A: Then TM Training is a perfect solution! We will work together on co-ordination and balance to ensure your body is working with you and not against you.

Q: I just want to lose weight from my tummy - which exercise can I do for that?
A: While we cannot "spot reduce" fat in any one specific area, we can provide a plan that will give you an overall decrease in fat and exercises that will tone and tighten troublesome spots.

Q: Why should I pay training rates when I could just go to the gym or workout at home?
A: Working out alone can very boring, lonely and unsafe. It is crucial you get a support system, ideally a trainer who can provide you new workouts, measurable goals, and good form to ensure alignment. With a TM trainer or a group training session you will receive all of these benefits and more.

Q: What are the benefits of in-home personal training?
A: Having TM Training come to your house is extremely comfortable, private and convenient. No extra time needed traveling to studios or stuck in the change room. An hour workout doesn&t turn into a 2 hour trip to the gym and you have all the comforts of home within reach. Your time is maximized so you can get on with your day.

If you already have equipment at home, this is the BEST way to get full usage from it. Universals and other fitness equipment can be pricey and a waste of money if you are only using it to hang clothes on! A trainer will be able to show you all the features of your equipment and incorporate it into your exercise plan.

Q: Will you help me with my diet?
A: Absolutely! Nutrition guidance is key and will be included in your sessions. Periodically you will complete a food diary so we can track what you are eating and where we can improve. As a Scholar at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition I am continually updating my extensive education in holistic nutrition.

Q: Do I need equipment?
A: No equipment is necessary however clients are recommended to purchase a couple sets of hand weights and a yoga mat. Different equipment and "tools of the trade" are brought with the trainer for each session.

Q: How many times per week should I train?
A: This really depends on how active you are, what your goals include and if you have a timeline. It is recommended that you do strength and resistance training 2-4 per week, so you could start with 1 or 2 sessions a week and increase on your own.

Q: Do I have to purchase a set of sessions up front?
A: No, TM Training books your sessions on a weekly basis. If you would like to pay in advance for a set of sessions this is a good idea, but not a necessity.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: 24 hours notice is required to cancel or re-schedule a session. Failure to give notice will result in a forfeit of the payment and session. All cancelled sessions will be re-scheduled. Personal training sessions are non-transferable and unused sessions are non-refundable.

Q: What paperwork will I need to fill out?
A: The trainer will provide you with a Medical Questionnaire, a Medical Background check, 24 hour cancellation policy agreement, payment policy and TM Training and Nutrition policy and agreement.
